A few humorous things have happened in my life recently. The first one to talk about is the fact that I've gotten not one, but TWO checks from cingular, for 19 cents each. Thats right, not only did they send two checks, the checks were for less than the postage to send me the checks. Since I have direct deposit, and never have to go to my bank, I think it would be less cost effective for me to use the gas, put wear and tare on my car, etc and go to the bank, than it would be for me to throw the checks away. Damn thats humorous.
The second thing is something you will only really understand if you've ever been in a college class that you went to for a reason other than attendance counts(i.e. wanting to learn or understand the material). On monday nights I have a three hour class that is Logic(philosophy-wise) The way the class works is, we have a quiz on the stuff we learned from the lecture last week, we get a break, then we have a lecture. For the first lecture, I didn't quite understand the material, so I obviously had questions, which I asked. Well, the next week rolls around, and before the prof gets there, this bitchy girl, who is taking the class with two other of her friends(read:group of girls who don't care what goes on in the class as long as they pass) says, outload, in front of most of the class, "Hey, do you think you could not ask any questions this class?" Now, I don't have a problem with people thinking that, because I have done so on occasion. This is even more acceptable if the questions are totally off topic or redundant. Mine were not. What I do have a problem with, is assuming that every person just wants to get out of the class ASAP and merely pass. Anyway, Prof gets there, and we take the quiz. After the break, he asks if we had any questions about the quiz, since it was our first. 'Bitch' raises her hand and says(I shit you not) "Um, your quiz was harder than the examples we did in class, and thats not fair." I actually chuckled out loud. Maybe if she made sure that she understood the material during the lecture, she wouldn't have a problem with simple quiz. I don't know for sure if this is irony, but it makes me smile.
Anywho, Life is a bit crazy right now. Work is going well. I've made a few friends there, but there is still alot of silly middle school bullshit between the staff. Luckily, I am not apart of it at all, so I look from the outside in. School is going well, nothing to really report. Social life is non-existant for the most part, because it seems i get super sick every weekend. I got an ear infection. 22 and I get an ear infection, the fuck is that? Okeedokee.
Love life is on life support right now, I really don't have opportunity to meet any women. The women at school who are my age are all in serious relationships.
Oh well, at least I'm money
